1970年3月15日,Expo ’70 在 Suita(日本 Osaka Prefecture)正式開幕。

On March 15, 1970, the Expo ’70 officially opened in Suita, within Osaka Prefecture.
Expo ’70 was the first World Expo ever held in Japan, and it symbolized the country’s remarkable post-war recovery and technological progress.
The exposition carried the theme “Progress and Harmony for Mankind.” More than 70 countries and organizations participated, presenting innovations in science, technology, architecture, and culture.
One of the most iconic symbols of the event was the Tower of the Sun, designed by Japanese artist Taro Okamoto.
Expo ’70 attracted over 60 million visitors during its six-month run, making it one of the most successful world expositions in history and a defining cultural moment for modern Japan.
